Our communication channels
The BWA uses various communication channels to reach our members, the wider groundwater industry, and the public. These include:
The BWA Website contains information for end-users and members of the groundwater industry. The Website is also home to the Borehole Water Journal Online (see below).
The Borehole Water Journal Online is an online trade publication for the groundwater industry. It is published every two months on the BWA Website and you can subscribe to the Journal for free, which will mean you'll get an email as soon as the Journal is published. The content includes articles on industry news, environmental awareness and water supply.
The Journal was published as a print magazine for many years and recently moved to online format. The online format is easier for searching, distribution, and ensuring that information is current and relevant.

Groundwater: A Layman’s Guide to Borehole Ownership is a short publication for end-users or communities who are considering drilling a borehole, or who are looking for information on managing their borehole in a sustainable way.
The BWA also offers a telephone and email enquiry service, where end-users can contact the BWA for advice on any aspect of a borehole. The BWA will also refer enquirers to BWA members who can assist them.
